Learning how to help our unhoused neighbors.
Though homelessness is a well-known and targeted issue in Los Angeles, there are still approximately 66,436 unhoused individuals. In light of COVID-19, this problem is only compounded. In order to really make a difference and solve this issue, it isn’t just more legislation or funding that we need-- it’s support from housed communities and individuals.
In this website we strive to work together to solve the homeless crisis by learning what actions we can take to be more informed and more respectful of individuals without homes. While learning, we hope to lessen the stigma people hold and reverse some of the prominent stereotypes that impede progress from being made.
